After updating DNS, you should confirm the domain is actually reaching your Veerhost server. This prevents guessing during troubleshooting.
1

Confirm the A record values

In your DNS provider panel:
  • @ should point to your Veerhost server IP
  • www should point to the Veerhost IP or be a CNAME to @
2

Test from multiple networks

DNS caching can mislead you. Test using:
  • An incognito/private window
  • Mobile data (4G/5G) instead of Wi-Fi
  • A different device (or different browser)
3

Confirm the domain is added in cPanel

Even with correct DNS, the server must know where to serve your domain. In cPanel, go to Domains and confirm the domain exists and has the correct document root.

What “success” looks like

When pointing is correct, you’ll see:
  • Your website loads, or
  • A default page from your hosting account (meaning DNS is correct, but website files may not be uploaded yet)
