SSL secures your website and enables HTTPS. Many domains can activate SSL from cPanel automatically.
1

Confirm your domain is pointing correctly

SSL won’t issue if the domain doesn’t resolve to your server.Make sure your DNS is correct first (your domain’s A record should point to your Veerhost server IP).
2

Open SSL tools

In cPanel, open SSL/TLS Status (or a similar SSL tool).
3

Run AutoSSL

Select your domain(s) and run AutoSSL.Wait for the process to complete.
4

Force HTTPS in WordPress

If you use WordPress, you can enforce HTTPS by:
  • Updating the WordPress Site URL to use https://
  • Enabling redirects (via a plugin or WordPress settings)

Notes

If SSL fails, it’s usually due to:
  • DNS not pointing to the server
  • The domain not being added to the hosting account
  • A DNS propagation delay
