Subdomains (like blog.yourdomain.com) can point to Veerhost using DNS records, then be configured inside cPanel to serve from a folder.
1

Create the DNS record

At your DNS provider, add:
  • A record: blog → your Veerhost server IP
(You can point a subdomain to another service if needed, but for Veerhost hosting use the server IP.)
2

Add the subdomain in cPanel

In cPanel:
  • Open Domains or Subdomains (depends on your cPanel)
  • Create the subdomain
  • Choose its document root folder (example: /public_html/blog)
3

Upload content

Upload your subdomain website files into the subdomain’s document root folder.

Notes

If your subdomain already exists as a DNS record, creating it in cPanel is still necessary so the server knows where its files live.
